Christmas just rang - he's on his way with his mate New Year.
With that in mind, we thought it was about time we launched our own gift vouchers. After manually creating one-off batches and then running out of them, I had a look around to see if there is a better way. There is.
So, from next week, anyone will be able to purchase said vouchers from the site. A PayPal account is needed to redeem them, but not to buy.
If you simply cannot wait - you can also buy them directly from here via the link below:

Facebook says it Likes us
So, if you do too, then just click on the title to be transported to a whole colourful world of slightly different web pages and people posting stuff.
And, as if that isn't enough for one week, please also consider lifting a heavy mouse finger and hitting our Like button.
Otherwise, how will we ever know?
Oh, and here's a picture of today's best looking oven (after we cleaned it, not before)

Goodbye Manchester
They say that nothing works out and everything is rubbish - well I do anyway, quite often.
Thanks to everyone in the North-West who has supported us over the last few years, but, due to circumstances out of our control, we have to bid farewell to Manchester and everyone west of the Pennines.
Obviously, I can almost hear the multitude of shocked gasps and disappointed moans, but the simple fact is that we did too much of a great job at too low a price. So great and so cheap that nobody else is willing to take on the huge responsibility of continuing our market-leading service. Everybody wants to make money for some reason!
You can probably see me waving from sunny York, but let's hope it's a temporary measure and not simply goodbye. Until then, I'm afraid your loss is Yorkshire's gain...
...and it does rain less here.

Rolling Stones
The blog has been noticeably quiet of late and that is surely my fault.
However, huge changes are afoot. More than a foot, actually. More like ninety miles in a roughly north-east direction:
Kitchen Rescue Ltd will shortly be expanding to cover the York to Leeds area, which will include the likes of Wetherby, Knaresborough, Harrogate, Selby and anywhere else that our new whippet-powered van can take us. It was going to be painted in a nice tweed pattern to match the flat cap, but sadly will just be bright white due to cost and the likely downtime from being beaten senseless by the locals.
All very exciting but there is, of course, lots to do first.

February already
Having totally forgotten to say Happy New Year, I also notice that we are almost into February. I'm not sure how this has happened but I really should, since it's the same every year; sing Auld Lang Syne, go to sleep, wake up in February.
Luckily, we've been cleaning ovens in our sleep again so nobody was let down during this time. If you do fancy having your oven cleaned, rest assured that we are all wide awake, well rested and eager to help.
In a way of celebrating absolutely nothing at all, we are also offering some discounts until the end of February - have a look at the site for more details.

Work is a four letter word.
This is a quick "hello, and thank you" to everyone who has taken advantage of our Christmas price drop. We have had a fantastic response and can, unfortunately, take no more bookings prior to the big day.
As a further gesture of seasonal good will (possibly caused by too much wine), we will charge the reduced rates for ANY booking made before Christmas Day, irrespective of the date of the actual clean! So, even if you need a clean in March you will only be charged our offer price.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY! x
Oh, and one more thing - Don't feed Keith.
